A collection of short stories with travelling as the central theme. In most of the stories the reader encounters a character travelling to an exotic destination, and in so doing reaching a destination within them. In foreign places the characters come to a new realisation about their own existence.

The stories are accessible, scintillating and sexy, and time and again the reader gets enchanted by Van der Vyver’s ability to make one part of a gathering of interesting, likeable characters. It is entertainment in the best sense of the word, although there are a few darker stories touching for instance on the death of a loved one.
