A new compilation of 34 poems, by world-renowned poet and author, Antjie Krog. Originally published in 1985, all 21 poems of the original edition of Mankepank en ander monsters have been included.
 
New poems have been added: in this selection we now have fairies, monsters, ghosts and a giant; and the tokoloshe and Antjie Somers feature too.

Illustrated by Diek Grobler, whose animations have won local and interrnation acclaim.
